Privacy Notice

Last updated: 17 October 2026 · FridayScout

This notice explains how FridayScout collects and uses information when you join our waitlist, request free matches, or become a client. We keep this short on purpose.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us (name, email, and optionally WhatsApp).
  • Profile details for matching: field of study, degree level, target countries, and related preferences.
  • Documents you upload when you become a client (CV, transcripts, voice notes, drafts), used only to deliver the service.
  • Basic technical data needed to run the site (for example, that a form was submitted successfully).

How we use it

  • To send you free matches, waitlist updates, and the weekly Friday list if you opted in.
  • To find openings and prepare application drafts from your own information.
  • To operate, secure and improve FridayScout.

We do not sell your data. We do not take commissions from universities.

Who we share it with

Only the tools we need to run the service (for example hosting, storage and AI providers used under no-training terms). We do not share your documents publicly or use them to train models.

How long we keep it

Waitlist details are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until the founding cohort / related outreach ends and you are no longer needed on the list. Client documents are deleted on request or 6 months after your service ends (unless you ask us to delete them sooner).

Your choices

  • You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • You can ask us to correct or delete it.
  • You can unsubscribe from free lists at any time.

Contact

For privacy requests, reply to any email you receive from FridayScout, or use the contact channel listed on the site once support email is published. We will update this notice when that address is available.

Important limits

FridayScout helps you discover openings and prepare materials from your own information. We do not guarantee interviews, admission, funding or visas. Always confirm listing details on the official source.
